The final volume of the comic, the film and the game are all expected in 2010. The whimsical six-part comic tells the tale of the "so awesome" Scott Pilgrim as he falls for the aloof Ramona Flowers and must defeat her seven evil exes amidst a non-stop barrage of references to video games, both classic and obscure, plus other bits of nerd culture. Hopefully some of that will rub off on this." "A lot of the same people that worked on that worked on this game, so it should be cool. "There's this Ninja Turtles game that came out a couple of years ago based on the recent CGI film, and the Game Boy Advance version was really cool," O'Malley said in a chat with Comic Book Resources. The comic's fifth volume included pixel art mock-ups of a game on its back cover, though there's no word as to if the actual game will resemble them. O'Malley expects the game to be a side-scrolling game that embraces the cartoony aesthetic of the comic instead of the film's real-life look, reports IGN. We still haven't even checked out part two yet, which from what we've heard is supposed to be better and deeper than the first one in every way? >.Alongside an Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) directed, Michael Cera (Arrested Development) starring film adaptation, Bryan Lee O'Malley's comic sensation Scott Pilgrim is also set to become a video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal (TMNT). We also had multiple save files just because we were really curious what would happen if we made a different dialogue choice. lol We had to reload the game so many times. XD The villagers are no pushovers either. If that happens, pretty much the WHOLE house or town can aggro onto you. ^^ There were a few times too where we pickpocketed or picked up something off the floor or table by accident and was seen by a town NPC. lol I don't think we had a choice but to reload our file because going through the game with only one character just wasn't an option. The spot in the yard we were digging exploded and KILLED two of our characters. So, we got our trusty shovel and started digging. >.> Once, we had a party of three, and we had hearsay that there was treasure buried in the front yard of a house in town. XD The game doesn't have permadeath, but it was REALLY rare to find a way to res someone, it's not just a "sleep at the inn" kind of thing. With Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon set to roar onto HBO Max in just one short month, the hype machine was on full, fiery blast at San Diego Comic-Con. The game can also be pretty hard on the consequences of your actions too. '_' But yeah, there's just soo much you can explore and choices you can make. I know there're a LOT of games with this kind of stuff, but in THIS game, you can find really important stuff somewhat often in mundane places, like character skill upgrade items! At least I think so, it's been a few years. There are just sooooo many barrels, crates, and pockets to look into, and oh so many side quests (that actually lead places) to be curious about. =D I don't know if we'll ever go back to it, even though we enjoyed it so much because it's really OCD enabling. We actually haven't played Divinity Original Sin in a really long time, but a friend's been playing it and we ended up talking a bit about it.~ It's a really cool western high fantasy game with fun mechanics and character building.
